William's Loop

This is William's Loop off SR-70 and the Spring Garden Overhead in Plumas County, CA. It consists of a 1/2 mile speed loop that the railroad uses to gain momentum to travel over Lee Summit. It took the train about 5 minutes to make a complete pass. Owen is facinated with trains and was so excited he was nearly speechless. This was his first close-up experience and we're sure he'll always remember it.
